The 2018 Coroners Statistics Annual Bulletin has been released – it is a useful high level summary of what is going on in coroners’ courts around the country and possible trends for the future. The bad news is that more people are dying: the projected figure for 2018 is 541,627 and is set to be the highest total since 1999.
Andrew Perfect of Serjeants’ Inn Chambers looks at the latest bulletin and highlights a number of things to note: you can read Andrew’s blog post here.
Perhaps not quite a summer read but we think worth adding to your reading list.
